The hardest thing I have found about the garden so far is Puppy proofing --


We have a sweet but rambunctious girl. She has eaten all the shrubs I planted last year and leaps small fences in a single bound. With no place puppy-free I have quite a challenge ahead of me.

Accomplishments
  • Stepping Stone Walkway
  • Rose Bush & Lattice
  • Various bushes along front edge of house.

The Back Yard

Challenges:

  • Crab Grass
  • Patchy Turf
  • Improper Grading around House
  • Lack of Privacy
  • Lack of Intersting Vegegation
Backyard beforeBack Yard when I purchased the home.-- A neglected yard.

Accomplished:

  • Small Herb and Vegetable Garden -- Imagine with green fencing around it!
  • A small semi-circular flower garden near garage.
  • Larkspur Garden. Not doing well
  • Extended Patio for barbeque
