Early June Hail storm

Sorry neighbors, planting my vegetable garden brought bad luck.  Not even a week after the garden was planted we had a terrible, long, midnight thunderstorm.  The size of hail was small but the duration of the storm ensured not a single plant went unscathed.

Most all seedlings were destroyed.  I will leave them out to see if they can produce new leaves.

The jalapenos are wreaked, so will have to buy more.

The tomatoes may have had some protection from the large blue spruce behind them and may recover without much difficulty.
