Backyard Review 2008

This year’s work turned out well in the backyard, even if I didn’t get the rose beds around the patio complete.

The new shrubs planted in the expanded flower garden has given structure to it that was missing. More plants are needed, but its a good start.

Plants added include:
A. Hibiscus syr ‘Helene’ (Tree) common name – Rose of Sharon.
B. Picea Glauca ‘Conica’ common name – Dwarf Alberta Spruce
C. Rosa Glauca common name – Red leaf rose x 2 — Update 2010. DIED, pulled the other out as it had an ugly growing habit (bad form).
D. Spiraea ‘Goldflame’ common name – Goldflame Spirea x 2
E. Picea pungens `Glauca globosa?` -can’t find tag
F. Guara lindheimeri ‘Whirling Butterflies’
G. Guara lindheimeri ‘Siskiyou Pink’
