For when I stop killing hostas

Hostas are supposed to be some of the easiest grown shade plants. HA – it has not seen the likes of this struggling gardener. Last year I lost two hosts that had been growing in a full shade area under a catalpa. Alas as I have no sprinkler / automatic drip system, I most likely gave them one too many heavy doses of water after forgetting about them.

Ah well.

So until I can get a good watering scheme, I’d be wasting my $$ on the likes of heirloom plants. But I will keep this link in case the day comes I can say… I have a blooming hosta.
